Meet our coaches
Supporting leaders to expand the choices available to them, find the freedom to lead from who they truly are and understand the patterns of thought and behaviour that may hold them back.
Jon Horsley has been a leader for over 35 years in the field of social and economic development across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Balkans, living and working in conflict-affected contexts including Cambodia, Bosnia and Lebanon. Jon is a qualified Organisational Development practitioner, and designs and delivers leadership development programs.
Jon works with leaders under pressure in complex and uncertain contexts, supporting them with empathy, compassion and rigour and enabling them to transcend limiting assumptions about who they are and what they are capable of.
After many years leading teams in field operations, policy advocacy, quality assurance and knowledge management in the humanitarian sector, Jon focussed increasingly on organisational development and change, culminating in leading the Learning and Organisational Development function for Oxfam.
Coaching Style
Jon’s clients say that he has a calm, supportive and focussed presence which provides them with a safe space in which to explore patterns of behaviour and communication in their interactions with others, and to experiment with new approaches that enable them to expand their personal bandwidth as leaders.
Working with people from very diverse backgrounds, Jon has developed considerable expertise in coaching clients to navigate challenges in cross-cultural communication.
