- How you might use a ‘systemic’ approach in your own work
We will:
- Spend some time thinking about systems and our role as coaches in systems
- Take some different views of Systemic Coaching
- Discuss each one and understand them together
- Have an opportunity to work with systemic tools and approaches
- Think about how and when you might use them in practice
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the workshop delegates will be able to:
- Apply a systemic approach to your work as a coach-mentor based on an awareness of systems theory;
- Identify forces acting within a system, and their impact, including in your own system;
- Be more confident in your capacity to coach-mentor effectively and ethically in complex systems.

About the presenter
Jon Horsley is a Coach-Mentor with OCM, accredited as a Senior Practitioner with the EMCC, and has been coaching for 15 years with leaders and teams in the humanitarian, corporate and academic sectors. Jon has been a leader for 35 years in the field of social and economic development across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Balkans, living in conflict-affected contexts including Cambodia, Bosnia and Lebanon. He is a qualified Organizational Development practitioner, and has designed and delivered leadership development programs. Jon works with people from very diverse backgrounds, coaching clients to navigate challenges in cross-cultural communication, and with leaders tackling extremes of pressure and complexity in volatile and uncertain contexts.
Jane Newman is an experienced coach, with EMCC Senior Practitioner accreditation, and holds an MSc in Coaching and Behavioural Change, from Henley Business School. She has over 25 years’ experience in HR and Learning and Development roles and has coached internally within organisations to support their Talent strategies, as well as coaching within her own private coaching practice, where she has supported individuals through a diverse range of situations. Jane believes in the transformative power of coaching and is committed to supporting others in their journeys to develop their own coaching skills.

You can book online either by credit card or requesting an invoice.
To make coaching and mentoring more accessible for those with less resources, we charge different rates for corporate clients and those who are privately funded.
For us this means people who work for publicly listed or limited companies pay the corporate rate and self-funding individuals, anyone in the Public sector or anyone in the Third sector pay the privately funded rate.
Alumni of The OCM should select the Privately Funded rate.
